The company now offers this outstanding opportunity for a high calibre sales professional to lead the corporate accounts function which represents some 65% of sales and which lists many of the UK’s leading private sector companies and public sector bodies as clients.
The Challenge:
Reporting to the MD, you will provide strategic and operational direction to the 150-strong corporate accounts sales function.
To develop and implement a corporate accounts sales strategy which is focused on delivering profitable sales growth with new and existing corporate accounts in both the public and private sectors.
To provide motivational and inspirational leadership to your team of direct reports, ensuring that they are providing suitable mentoring and direction to their teams which will allow them to consistently deliver excellent levels of performance.
As a member of the Executive Team, to make an active contribution to the strategic direction of the organisation.
To use your excellent interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships throughout the organisation and at senior decision-making levels within the customer base.
The Candidate:
Should currently be operating in a senior sales/corporate accounts/business development capacity in a B2B environment with responsibility for budgeted sales in excess of £100m.
Must be able to demonstrate how your excellent leadership skills have enabled your team to achieve profitable business growth within a competitive and demanding market sector.
A charismatic leader, with high levels of drive and energy, you should possess excellent interpersonal skills which enable you to build credibility and to influence senior decision-makers within corporate accounts and your own organisation.
Should be able to make positive contributions both strategically and operationally and will have the ambition and ability to progress to the most senior levels of management.
Should strive to delight customers by constantly exceeding their expectations.
