This well established company manufactures a prestige brand of high quality products and enjoys a market leading position in both home and export markets. Now part of an international group, the company offers this challenging opportunity for a talented Supply Chain/Operations Professional.
The Role:
To assume responsibility for all planning activities, managing a small support team.
To strive to optimise lead times, material utilisation and OTIF delivery performance.
To monitor stock and inventory levels.
To liaise closely with the marketing function regarding sales forecasts.
The Candidate:
Should have experience of leading a Production Control/Production Planning function in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
Should be able to demonstrate how you have made significant improvements which have led to optimised production, improved delivery performance and reduced inventory levels.
IT literate, you will ideally have experience of SAP or other ERP software.
An effective team-worker, you will be ambitious and capable of progressing to senior operational roles.
