Basic up to £35k + attractive bonus +car
The company is a leading distributor of own-label and premium brand flooring products. With UK sales of c£30m, it already holds a strong market position. Backed by the resources of a major international group, it has an ambitious growth strategy and has created this new position to further strengthen its sales function.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for achieving profitable sales growth through maximising the significant potential which exists in this territory, which stretches from the North East to the Midlands. You will relish the challenge of promoting branded products as well as building and maintaining excellent customer relationships across a wide range of builders’ merchants, specialist timber merchants and flooring retailers.
Educated to degree level, you should have proven success in a B2B field sales role. Brand oriented, you should have experience of selling products where the emphasis has been on the promotion of their technical features and benefits.
Highly ambitious, you should have the potential to rapidly develop your career and will be looking to progress to a role with team leadership responsibilities within a short timescale, which this opportunity presents.
