Our robust and successful processes leave little or nothing to chance in any recruitment project.

Briefings and initial research are incredibly thorough; we like to visit your operation to ensure that we understand the fundamentals of your business and the type of person you are looking for.

Our structured approach to management selection is underpinned by competency-based job and candidate profiling.  This requires us to draft a clear assignment brief incorporating a detailed company profile, job description, candidate specification, including ideal personality characteristics, organisation charts and details of the rewards package.

We then identify candidates through one or more of the following techniques, always matching our strategy to the specific vacancy:

Our process includes structured, criteria-referenced interview techniques, at which we explore in detail not simply each candidate’s work experience and track record, but also information relating to those competencies which have been identified with the client as an essential requirement for the role. 

Thorough reference checks are followed up for shortlisted candidates, each of whom will be asked to undertake highly-focused psychometric assessments.  This includes the professional application of Personality and Critical Reasoning Assessments administered by qualified SHL Assessors (www.shl.com) or Chartered Psychologists, incorporating one-to-one feedback of results to candidates.  Throughout the process, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the candidates, all of whom are treated with professional courtesy.

Even after an appointment, we maintain regular contact with both the client and the placed candidate ensuring that a successful outcome has indeed been secured.  To ensure everything about the recruitment assignment runs smoothly, we make regular Consultant visits to the hired candidates and their line managers.

Throughout the entire recruitment process, we ensure that we adhere to the full provision of all current UK and EU employment legislation.
